Visit geysers, waterfalls and volcanic craters and get a taste for Icelandic tomatoes

The Finer Details
After a convenient pick-up, your adventure commences with a visit to the stunning Kerið Volcanic Crater, where you’ll be struck by the colors and contrast of this natural site. From there, you will venture to the Geysir geothermal area to witness the unforgettable spectacle of erupting geysers, and then continue on to Gullfoss, where you will get a small taste for the numerous waterfalls Iceland has to be witnessed.

In a unique twist to the typical Golden Circle loop, you will head to Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where we'll enjoy a delectable lunch amidst the lush greenery of their greenhouse. This unique dining experience allows you to dine amidst thriving tomato plants and savor a menu inspired by this extraordinary environment.

Following lunch, your journey will bring you to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you'll stand on the historical site where Iceland's first parliament convened, and learn about a particular geological marvel—the rift zone where tectonic plates are actively pulling apart.

Incredible day with Frioheimar despite the overcast and wind. We saw far more sites and learned far more about Iceland than we expected. Frioheimar is a very knowledgeable and congenial guide. He definitely earned the five stars.

To see Iceland through the eyes of our guide Atli was truly a privilege. We are so thankful that we booked this tour.
