We’ve taken dozens of walking tours throughout the world, including many from Context, and they don’t get any better than Fleur’s. She took the time to look over our interests (history) beforehand, and came prepared with a wealth of maps, pictures, and other visuals. She’s a fountain of information which she explains expertly in excellent English - I can’t begin to tell you how much we learned. She also helped up plan the rest of our stay in Bordeaux so that we could focus on sites that matched our interests. I would give Fleur the highest of recommendations.

Don’t just take our word for it
Our tour with Fleur was so wonderful. We learned a lot, got to experience so much of the history of the city, and finished with some delicious and interesting wines. I hope everyone who takes this tour has the kind of experience we had!
It was a pleasure having Anne as our Context guide. She was responsive, on-time, and was extremely knowledgeable about the history, culture and social practices of Bordeaux. In addition to learning about the historical context of the architectures in the city, she also shared with us her favorite shops - best places to buy local spices and products (we had no idea saffron and caviar local here!), got us to try Canneles, Bordeaux's most famous treat and knowing that we were "wine out" from too many winery visits prior to our walk with her, she skipped wine tasting with us. Thanks to Anne, we now have a better understanding of Bordeaux beyond the usual touristy areas, and would highly recommend her. Thank you Anne!
