Michelle Ziling Ou
Michelle has been calling Paris home for over a decade. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing, Michelle worked as a marketeer in Australia and Hong Kong, before hopelessly falling in love with the City of Lights. This was when she quit her 9-5 job and never looked back.
She was professionally trained in French Pâtisserie at a prestigious culinary institute, survived a Michelin kitchen and started her own small business curating arty food tours around Paris in 2018.
Her artistic sensibilities led her to Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts in Paris, where she deepened her love for art history. Today, she is an officially licensed French museum guide, works at a French sculptor’s atelier-museum as guide-conférencière and leads food tours as well as cultural tours here at Context Travel.
As a proud stepmother of two adolescents (!), Michelle is a family-friendly expert with solid experience adapting both food tours and museum tours for the younger audiences. She enjoys creating fun, engaging activities for children & teenagers of all ages.
She strives to share with you the most memorable travel experience possible, helping you celebrate the very special occasions with your loved ones. Know that you have a friend in Paris!
