About Gabrielle

Gabrielle (Gabi) Tillenburg (she/her) is a PhD candidate studying art history at the University of Maryland. She previously served as a Curatorial Assistant at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery and Exhibitions Coordinator at a local nonprofit art space. As an instructor, she helps undergraduates develop the knowledge and confidence to enter any museum and make insightful interpretations. She brings this accessible educational approach to all of her tours. A lifetime Washingtonian, she enjoys being immersed in a lively local arts scene. She is always excited to make recommendations for your trip to the nation's capital, including where to eat, drink, and experience DC's rich cultural scene off the beaten path.
