Anne Meglioli
Anne Meglioli is a professional food and wine tour guide, working in Emilia—where she lives—and well beyond. Born in Paris, she has spent the last 35 years in the wine world (exports and publishing), and for over two decades she has been lending her senses and taste buds to food and wine competitions, world-wide. She also teaches in educational programs dedicated to food and wine culture and tasting.
A long time collaborator of the Parmigiano Reggiano Consortium, she has guided more than 2,000 visits, revealing every step of the production process. Even with her eyes closed, the smells and sounds are enough for her to tell you the whole story. She also leads visits designed for people with visual impairments.
Anne loves introducing visitors to Italian cuisine and its products, taking them straight into production sites and encouraging exchanges with passionate producers.
