Your family will learn all about the history of these masterpieces while enjoying a fun tour led by a family-friendly art historian. Even though Napoleon tried to take it all away, this incredible collection remains one of the best in Rome and the perfect place to discover the iconic artists who shaped Italian art history.

Uncover Hidden Meanings in Historic Masterpieces

Themes such as mythology and history are predominant, allowing families to draw upon their knowledge and participate in the storytelling, while our guide takes care to point out hidden details and symbols in the works. These details can aid in your understanding and identification of the meaning behind the art. In this way, our aim is to not only have your family understand the works in the Galleria Borghese but to equip you with the basics for understanding other historical art sites and museums during your travels.

Theresa was incredible. I loved having her as my guide. I didn't think it was possible, but she truly made me see at in a different light. The history, the stories, the details she provided allowed me to grow curious and find an appreciation for art that I would normally pass by. She was great, personable, understanding a patient with all my questions. She is the BEST. Love her.

Jeanette did a great job engaging little kids and making art interesting for them.

Really enjoyable tour of the Borghese Gallery with our 3 restless kids! Richard has a great sense of humour and tried his best to keep the boys’ interest, like using current children’s literature (e.g. Percy Jackson), and I appreciate his effort. Towards the end, I probably got the most out of the tour but there were zero complaints from the kids, which is a definite win in my books!
