Our guide Sylvia was very knowledgeable, interesting and informative. She gave us an appreciation not only of the historical treasures in Avignon, but of life in the city now. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Don’t just take our word for it
Jeremie is a wealth of knowledge about Avignon, I learned a lot about the history of the city and the architectural sights. Also the beauty, walking on the old bridge over the Rhône and viewing the city from the roof of the Papal Palace. Walking through the Papal Palace he pointed out many architectural features. I now understand how Gothic arches work. I highly recommend this tour.
Anne was excellent, and so personable! Her depth of knowledge was great. The standouts were the chapel decorated with lapis, the wall paintings, and the contemporary sculptures. Great tour!
