This was our second tour and day spent with Suleyman in Istanbul (he was our friend and teacher at the Topkapi Palace the prior day). It was amazing to spend two days with him and build upon all that we learned at the Palace. What made the tour fantastic was Suleyman's stories about local life in Istanbul and tying in his personal experiences to educating us on the history and culture of the city. We learned so much about Muslim life (and the lives of people practicing other religions by way of contrast) and living in Turkey by spending the day with him. Suleyman is amazing and would hope that everyone has the opportunity to spend time with him on their trip to Istanbul.

Don’t just take our word for it
Ebru organized a fascinating introduction to the spiritual side of Istanbul. We came upon Islamic, Christian and Jewish neighborhoods, mosques, churches and synagogues while walking the tiny streets. A pause at charming coffee spot provided an opportunity to talk of the interconnections between the faiths and their peoples. Very enjoyable
Melike was extremely informative and a lovely person. Adjusted the tour to match our interests
